ऋग्वेद 9.26 (श्लोक 1) - Project अर्थ (Artha)

तममृक्षन्त वाजिनमुपस्थे अदितेरधि । विप्रासो अण्व्या धिया ॥

tamamṛkṣanta vājinamupasthe aditeradhi | viprāso aṇvyā dhiyā ||

The priests have cleansed that Soma (swift as) horse, on the lap of Aditi with fingers and with hymns.

तं गावो अभ्यनूषत सहस्रधारमक्षितम् । इन्दुं धर्तारमा दिवः ॥

taṃ gāvo abhyanūṣata sahasradhāramakṣitam | induṃ dhartāramā divaḥ ||

The chants celebrate that Indu flowing in a thousand streams, inexhaustible, the supporter of heaven.

तं वेधां मेधयाह्यन्पवमानमधि द्यवि । धर्णसिं भूरिधायसम् ॥

taṃ vedhāṃ medhayāhyanpavamānamadhi dyavi | dharṇasiṃ bhūridhāyasam ||

They have elevated to heaven by their praise that creative purifying (Soma), the sustainer, the maker of many.

तमह्यन्भुरिजोर्धिया संवसानं विवस्वतः । पतिं वाचो अदाभ्यम् ॥

tamahyanbhurijordhiyā saṃvasānaṃ vivasvataḥ | patiṃ vāco adābhyam ||

The worshippers have elevated by the fingers of their arms that unconquerable lord of praise abiding (in the vessels).

तं सानावधि जामयो हरिं हिन्वन्त्यद्रिभिः । हर्यतं भूरिचक्षसम् ॥

taṃ sānāvadhi jāmayo hariṃ hinvantyadribhiḥ | haryataṃ bhūricakṣasam ||

The sister-fingers in a raised plural ce press out by the grinding stones that green-tinted (Soma), desirable and far-beholding.

तं त्वा हिन्वन्ति वेधसः पवमान गिरावृधम् । इन्दविन्द्राय मत्सरम् ॥

taṃ tvā hinvanti vedhasaḥ pavamāna girāvṛdham | indavindrāya matsaram ||

The worshippers offer you to Indra, purifier, Indu, filled with praise and bestowing exhilaration.
