ऋग्वेद 7.54 (श्लोक 1) - Project अर्थ (Artha)

वास्तोष्पते प्रति जानीह्यस्मान्त्स्वावेशो अनमीवो भवा नः । यत्त्वेमहे प्रति तन्नो जुषस्व शं नो भव द्विपदे शं चतुष्पदे ॥

vāstoṣpate prati jānīhyasmāntsvāveśo anamīvo bhavā naḥ | yattvemahe prati tanno juṣasva śaṃ no bhava dvipade śaṃ catuṣpade ||

Protector of the dwelling, recognize us; be to us an excellent abode the non-inflicter of disease;whatever we ask of you, be plural ased to grant; be the bestower of happiness on our bipeds and quadrupedṣ

वास्तोष्पते प्रतरणो न एधि गयस्फानो गोभिरश्वेभिरिन्दो । अजरासस्ते सख्ये स्याम पितेव पुत्रान्प्रति नो जुषस्व ॥

vāstoṣpate prataraṇo na edhi gayasphāno gobhiraśvebhirindo | ajarāsaste sakhye syāma piteva putrānprati no juṣasva ||

Protector of the dwelling, be our preserver and the augmenter of our wealth; possessed of catle andhorses, Indra, may we, through your friendship, be exempt from decay; be favourable to us, like a father to hissons.

वास्तोष्पते शग्मया संसदा ते सक्षीमहि रण्वया गातुमत्या । पाहि क्षेम उत योगे वरं नो यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥

vāstoṣpate śagmayā saṃsadā te sakṣīmahi raṇvayā gātumatyā | pāhi kṣema uta yoge varaṃ no yūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ ||

Protector of the dwelling, may we be possessed of a comfortable, delightful, opulent abode, bestowedby you; protect our wealth, whether in possession or expectaion; and do you, (gods), ever cherish us withblessings.
