ऋग्वेद 7.11 (श्लोक 1) - Project अर्थ (Artha)

महाँ अस्यध्वरस्य प्रकेतो न ऋते त्वदमृता मादयन्ते । आ विश्वेभिः सरथं याहि देवैर्न्यग्ने होता प्रथमः सदेह ॥

mahā~ asyadhvarasya praketo na ṛte tvadamṛtā mādayante | ā viśvebhiḥ sarathaṃ yāhi devairnyagne hotā prathamaḥ sadeha ||

Great are you, Agni, the manifester of the solemnity without you the immortals do not rejoice; come inthe same chariot with all the gods; sit down here the chief, the ministrant priest.

त्वामीऴते अजिरं दूत्याय हविष्मन्तः सदमिन्मानुषासः । यस्य देवैरासदो बर्हिरग्नेऽहान्यस्मै सुदिना भवन्ति ॥

tvāmīḻate ajiraṃ dūtyāya haviṣmantaḥ sadaminmānuṣāsaḥ | yasya devairāsado barhiragne'hānyasmai sudinā bhavanti ||

Men offering oblations, ever solicit you the quick-going (to undertake) the office of their messenger, forto him, on whose sacred grass you sit with the gods, the days are prosperous.

त्रिश्चिदक्तोः प्र चिकितुर्वसूनि त्वे अन्तर्दाशुषे मर्त्याय । मनुष्वदग्न इह यक्षि देवान्भवा नो दूतो अभिशस्तिपावा ॥

triścidaktoḥ pra cikiturvasūni tve antardāśuṣe martyāya | manuṣvadagna iha yakṣi devānbhavā no dūto abhiśastipāvā ||

In you, Agni, thrice in the day, (the priests) make manifest the treasures (of the oblation) for (the benefitof the) mortal donor; worship the gods on this occasion, Agni, as (you did) for Manu; be our messenger, ourprotector against malignity.

अग्निरीशे बृहतो अध्वरस्याग्निर्विश्वस्य हविषः कृतस्य । क्रतुं ह्यस्य वसवो जुषन्ताथा देवा दधिरे हव्यवाहम् ॥

agnirīśe bṛhato adhvarasyāgnirviśvasya haviṣaḥ kṛtasya | kratuṃ hyasya vasavo juṣantāthā devā dadhire havyavāham ||

Agni presides over the solemn rite, over every consecrated oblation; the Vasus approved of his acts;the gods have made him the bearer of the offering.

आग्ने वह हविरद्याय देवानिन्द्रज्येष्ठास इह मादयन्ताम् । इमं यज्ञं दिवि देवेषु धेहि यूयं पात स्वस्तिभिः सदा नः ॥

āgne vaha haviradyāya devānindrajyeṣṭhāsa iha mādayantām | imaṃ yajñaṃ divi deveṣu dhehi yūyaṃ pāta svastibhiḥ sadā naḥ ||

Agni, bring the gods to eat of the oblation; may they, of whom Indra is the chief, be delighted on thisoccasion; convey this sacrifice to the deities in heaven, and do you ever cherish us with blessings.
