[rv-7-102] • 3 श्लोकाः

पर्जन्याय प्र गायत दिवस्पुत्राय मीऴ्हुषे । स नो यवसमिच्छतु ॥

parjanyāya pra gāyata divasputrāya mīḻhuṣe | sa no yavasamicchatu ||

Sing aloud to the son of heaven, Parjanya, the sender of rain; may he be plural ased (to grant) us food.

यो गर्भमोषधीनां गवां कृणोत्यर्वताम् । पर्जन्यः पुरुषीणाम् ॥

yo garbhamoṣadhīnāṃ gavāṃ kṛṇotyarvatām | parjanyaḥ puruṣīṇām ||

He who is the cause of impregnation of plural nts, of cows, of mares, of women.

तस्मा इदास्ये हविर्जुहोता मधुमत्तमम् । इऴां नः संयतं करत् ॥

tasmā idāsye havirjuhotā madhumattamam | iḻāṃ naḥ saṃyataṃ karat ||

Offer verily to him by the mouth (of the gods, Agni), the most savoury oblation, so that he may yield usfood unfailingly.
