ऋग्वेद 6.30 (श्लोक 4) - Project अर्थ (Artha)

भूय इद्वावृधे वीर्यायँ एको अजुर्यो दयते वसूनि । प्र रिरिचे दिव इन्द्रः पृथिव्या अर्धमिदस्य प्रति रोदसी उभे ॥

bhūya idvāvṛdhe vīryāya~ eko ajuryo dayate vasūni | pra ririce diva indraḥ pṛthivyā ardhamidasya prati rodasī ubhe ||

Again has Indra increased (in strength) for (the display of) heroism; he, the chief (of all), the undecayable, bestows riches (on his votaries); Indra surpasses heaven and earth; a mere portion of him is equal to both earth and heaven.

अधा मन्ये बृहदसुर्यमस्य यानि दाधार नकिरा मिनाति । दिवेदिवे सूर्यो दर्शतो भूद्वि सद्मान्युर्विया सुक्रतुर्धात् ॥

adhā manye bṛhadasuryamasya yāni dādhāra nakirā mināti | divedive sūryo darśato bhūdvi sadmānyurviyā sukraturdhāt ||

I now glorify his vast and asura-destroying (vigour); those exploits that he has determined (to achieve) no one can resist; (by him) the sun was made daily visible; and he, the doer of great deeds, spread out the spacious regions (of the universe).

अद्या चिन्नू चित्तदपो नदीनां यदाभ्यो अरदो गातुमिन्द्र । नि पर्वता अद्मसदो न सेदुस्त्वया दृऴ्हानि सुक्रतो रजांसि ॥

adyā cinnū cittadapo nadīnāṃ yadābhyo arado gātumindra | ni parvatā admasado na sedustvayā dṛḻhāni sukrato rajāṃsi ||

At present, verily as of old, that act, (the liberation) of the rivers, is effective; whereby you have directed them on their course; the mountains have settled (at your command) like (men) seated at their meals; doer of great deeds, by you have the worlds been rendered stationary.

सत्यमित्तन्न त्वावाँ अन्यो अस्तीन्द्र देवो न मर्त्यो ज्यायान् । अहन्नहिं परिशयानमर्णोऽवासृजो अपो अच्छा समुद्रम् ॥

satyamittanna tvāvā~ anyo astīndra devo na martyo jyāyān | ahannahiṃ pariśayānamarṇo'vāsṛjo apo acchā samudram ||

Verily it is the truth, Indra, that there is no other such as you, no god nor mortal is (your) superior; you have slain Ahi obstructing the waters, you have set them free (to flow) to the ocean.

त्वमपो वि दुरो विषूचीरिन्द्र दृऴ्हमरुजः पर्वतस्य । राजाभवो जगतश्चर्षणीनां साकं सूर्यं जनयन्द्यामुषासम् ॥

tvamapo vi duro viṣūcīrindra dṛḻhamarujaḥ parvatasya | rājābhavo jagataścarṣaṇīnāṃ sākaṃ sūryaṃ janayandyāmuṣāsam ||

You have set the obstructed waters free o flow in all directions; you have fractured the solid (barrier) of the cloud; you are lord over the people of the world, making manifest together the sun, the sky, and the dawn.
