ऋग्वेद 5.81 (श्लोक 1) - Project अर्थ (Artha)

युञ्जते मन उत युञ्जते धियो विप्रा विप्रस्य बृहतो विपश्चितः । वि होत्रा दधे वयुनाविदेक इन्मही देवस्य सवितुः परिष्टुतिः ॥

yuñjate mana uta yuñjate dhiyo viprā viprasya bṛhato vipaścitaḥ | vi hotrā dadhe vayunāvideka inmahī devasya savituḥ pariṣṭutiḥ ||

The wise apply their minds; they perform sacred rites for the propitiation of the intelligent, great, adorable Savitā; he alone, knowing their functions, directs the priests; verily, great is the praise of the divine Savitā.

विश्वा रूपाणि प्रति मुञ्चते कविः प्रासावीद्भद्रं द्विपदे चतुष्पदे । वि नाकमख्यत्सविता वरेण्योऽनु प्रयाणमुषसो वि राजति ॥

viśvā rūpāṇi prati muñcate kaviḥ prāsāvīdbhadraṃ dvipade catuṣpade | vi nākamakhyatsavitā vareṇyo'nu prayāṇamuṣaso vi rājati ||

The wise Savitā comprehends all forms (in himself); he has engendered what is good for biped and quadruped; the adorable Savitā has illumed the heaven, and shines in sequence to the passage of the Dawn.

यस्य प्रयाणमन्वन्य इद्ययुर्देवा देवस्य महिमानमोजसा । यः पार्थिवानि विममे स एतशो रजांसि देवः सविता महित्वना ॥

yasya prayāṇamanvanya idyayurdevā devasya mahimānamojasā | yaḥ pārthivāni vimame sa etaśo rajāṃsi devaḥ savitā mahitvanā ||

After the passage of which divine (being) the other deities proceed to (obtain) majesty with power; he who by his greatness has measured out the terrestrial regions the divine Savitā, (is) resplendent.

उत यासि सवितस्त्रीणि रोचनोत सूर्यस्य रश्मिभिः समुच्यसि । उत रात्रीमुभयतः परीयस उत मित्रो भवसि देव धर्मभिः ॥

uta yāsi savitastrīṇi rocanota sūryasya raśmibhiḥ samucyasi | uta rātrīmubhayataḥ parīyasa uta mitro bhavasi deva dharmabhiḥ ||

eithe ryou traverse, Savitā, the three regions, or combine with the rays of Sūrya; or you pass between the night on either hand; or you, divine Savitā are Mitra, through your (benevolent) functions.

उतेशिषे प्रसवस्य त्वमेक इदुत पूषा भवसि देव यामभिः । उतेदं विश्वं भुवनं वि राजसि श्यावाश्वस्ते सवित स्तोममानशे ॥

uteśiṣe prasavasya tvameka iduta pūṣā bhavasi deva yāmabhiḥ | utedaṃ viśvaṃ bhuvanaṃ vi rājasi śyāvāśvaste savita stomamānaśe ||

You alone rule over (the actions of) living beings; you are Pūṣan, divine (Savitā), by the movements; you are soverign over the whole world; Śyāvāśva offers praise, Savitā, to you.
