ऋग्वेद 10.171 (श्लोक 1) - Project अर्थ (Artha)

त्वं त्यमिटतो रथमिन्द्र प्रावः सुतावतः । अशृणोः सोमिनो हवम् ॥

tvaṃ tyamiṭato rathamindra prāvaḥ sutāvataḥ | aśṛṇoḥ somino havam ||

You have protected, Indra, this chariot of Iḷā, who offered libations; hear the invocation of thepresenter of the Soma.

त्वं मखस्य दोधतः शिरोऽव त्वचो भरः । अगच्छः सोमिनो गृहम् ॥

tvaṃ makhasya dodhataḥ śiro'va tvaco bharaḥ | agacchaḥ somino gṛham ||

You have carried off the head of the trmbling sacrifice from his skin; come to the dwelling of thepresenter of the Soma.

त्वं त्यमिन्द्र मर्त्यमास्त्रबुध्नाय वेन्यम् । मुहुः श्रथ्ना मनस्यवे ॥

tvaṃ tyamindra martyamāstrabudhnāya venyam | muhuḥ śrathnā manasyave ||

You have often, Indra, let loose the mortal Venya, against Manasyu, the son of Astrabudhna.

त्वं त्यमिन्द्र सूर्यं पश्चा सन्तं पुरस्कृधि । देवानां चित्तिरो वशम् ॥

tvaṃ tyamindra sūryaṃ paścā santaṃ puraskṛdhi | devānāṃ cittiro vaśam ||

Bring forward that Sūrya, Indra, who is lingering behind, the beloved of the gods, (awhile) concealedfrom them.
