पुलह was one of the spiritual sons of ब्रह्मा . [mh-3-204-12 ] .
क्षमा , wife of पुलह , delivered three sons named कर्दम , उर्वरीवान् and सहिष्णु . (Chapter 10, Aṃśa 1, Viṣṇu Purāṇa) .
पुलह got of his wife क्षमा another son named कर्मश्रेष्थ . (Chapter 20, Agni Purāṇa) .
पुलह is included in the group of six powerful sages. [mh-1-66-4 ] .
From Pulaha were born the butterflies, lions, tigers, lambs, wolves and किम्पुरुषस् . [mh-1-66-3 ] .
पुलह took part in the Janmotsava of अर्जुन . [mh-1-122-52 ] .
पुलह was also among the sages who dissuaded पराशर from conducting a याग to kill all the राक्षसस् . [mh-1-180-9 ] .
पुलह was a member of the court of इन्द्र . [mh-2-7-17 ] .
पुलह was a worshipper of ब्रह्मा . [mh-2-11-18 ] .
पुलह did penance at a place on the shores of अलकनन्दा , a tributary of river गङ्गा . [mh-3-142-6 ] .
He took part in the जन्मोत्सव of सुब्रह्मण्य . [mh-9-45-9 ] .
पुलह is included in the twenty one प्रजापतिस् . [mh-12-334-35 ] .
पुलह is one among the group of सप्तर्षिस् called चित्रशिखण्डिन्स् . [mh-12-335-29 ] .
पुलह is also one of the अष्टप्रकृतिस् . [mh-12-340-1 ] .
