ऋग्वेद 5.84 (श्लोक 3) - Project अर्थ (Artha)

बऴित्था पर्वतानां खिद्रं बिभर्षि पृथिवि । प्र या भूमिं प्रवत्वति मह्ना जिनोषि महिनि ॥

baḻitthā parvatānāṃ khidraṃ bibharṣi pṛthivi | pra yā bhūmiṃ pravatvati mahnā jinoṣi mahini ||

Verily you sustain here, Pṛthivi, the fracture of the mountains; mighty and most excellent, you are she who delight the earth by your greatness.

स्तोमासस्त्वा विचारिणि प्रति ष्टोभन्त्यक्तुभिः । प्र या वाजं न हेषन्तं पेरुमस्यस्यर्जुनि ॥

stomāsastvā vicāriṇi prati ṣṭobhantyaktubhiḥ | pra yā vājaṃ na heṣantaṃ perumasyasyarjuni ||

Wanderer in various ways your worshippers hymn you with (sacred) songs; you who, bright-hued, tosses the swollen (cloud) like a neighing horse.

दृऴ्हा चिद्या वनस्पतीन्क्ष्मया दर्धर्ष्योजसा । यत्ते अभ्रस्य विद्युतो दिवो वर्षन्ति वृष्टयः ॥

dṛḻhā cidyā vanaspatīnkṣmayā dardharṣyojasā | yatte abhrasya vidyuto divo varṣanti vṛṣṭayaḥ ||

You who, with solid earth, sustain by your strength the forest lords, when the showers of your cloud fall from the shining sky.
