[rv-2-37] • 6 श्लोकाः

मन्दस्व होत्रादनु जोषमन्धसोऽध्वर्यवः स पूर्णां वष्ट्यासिचम् । तस्मा एतं भरत तद्वशो ददिर्होत्रात्सोमं द्रविणोदः पिब ऋतुभिः ॥

mandasva hotrādanu joṣamandhaso'dhvaryavaḥ sa pūrṇāṃ vaṣṭyāsicam | tasmā etaṃ bharata tadvaśo dadirhotrātsomaṃ draviṇodaḥ piba ṛtubhiḥ ||

Be gratified, Draviṇodas, by the sacrificial food presented as the offering of the Hotā; he desires, priests, a fall libation; present it to him, and influenced (by it, he will be your) benefactor; drink, Draviṇodas, along with the Ṛtus, the Soma, the offering of the Hotā.

यमु पूर्वमहुवे तमिदं हुवे सेदु हव्यो ददिर्यो नाम पत्यते । अध्वर्युभिः प्रस्थितं सोम्यं मधु पोत्रात्सोमं द्रविणोदः पिब ऋतुभिः ॥

yamu pūrvamahuve tamidaṃ huve sedu havyo dadiryo nāma patyate | adhvaryubhiḥ prasthitaṃ somyaṃ madhu potrātsomaṃ draviṇodaḥ piba ṛtubhiḥ ||

He, whom I formerly invoked and whom I now invoke, is verily worthy of invocation, for he is renowned as a benefactor; the Soma libation has been brought by the priests; drink, Draviṇodās, along with the Ṛtus, the Soma, the offering of the Potā.

मेद्यन्तु ते वह्नयो येभिरीयसेऽरिषण्यन्वीऴयस्वा वनस्पते । आयूया धृष्णो अभिगूर्या त्वं नेष्ट्रात्सोमं द्रविणोदः पिब ऋतुभिः ॥

medyantu te vahnayo yebhirīyase'riṣaṇyanvīḻayasvā vanaspate | āyūyā dhṛṣṇo abhigūryā tvaṃ neṣṭrātsomaṃ draviṇodaḥ piba ṛtubhiḥ ||

May these your bearers, by whom you are borne along, be satisfied; lord of the forest, be firm, doing no injury, steadfast of resolve; come and being gracious, drink, Draviṇodas, along with the Ṛtus, the Soma, the offering of the Neṣṭā.

अपाद्धोत्रादुत पोत्रादमत्तोत नेष्ट्रादजुषत प्रयो हितम् । तुरीयं पात्रममृक्तममर्त्यं द्रविणोदाः पिबतु द्राविणोदसः ॥

apāddhotrāduta potrādamattota neṣṭrādajuṣata prayo hitam | turīyaṃ pātramamṛktamamartyaṃ draviṇodāḥ pibatu drāviṇodasaḥ ||

Whether he has drunk the Soma from the offering of the Hotā; whether he has been exhilarated by the offering of the Potā; whether he has been plural ased with the (sacrificial) food presented as the act of the Neṣṭā; still let Draviṇodās quaff the unstrained ambrosial cup, the fourth offered by the priest.

अर्वाञ्चमद्य यय्यं नृवाहणं रथं युञ्जाथामिह वां विमोचनम् । पृङ्क्तं हवींषि मधुना हि कं गतमथा सोमं पिबतं वाजिनीवसू ॥

arvāñcamadya yayyaṃ nṛvāhaṇaṃ rathaṃ yuñjāthāmiha vāṃ vimocanam | pṛṅktaṃ havīṃṣi madhunā hi kaṃ gatamathā somaṃ pibataṃ vājinīvasū ||

Yoke today, Aśvins, your rolling car conveying (you), the leaders (of the rite); and setting yu down before us; mix the oblations with the sweet juice; come you are affluent with (abundant) food, and drink the Soma.

जोष्यग्ने समिधं जोष्याहुतिं जोषि ब्रह्म जन्यं जोषि सुष्टुतिम् । विश्वेभिर्विश्वाँ ऋतुना वसो मह उशन्देवाँ उशतः पायया हविः ॥

joṣyagne samidhaṃ joṣyāhutiṃ joṣi brahma janyaṃ joṣi suṣṭutim | viśvebhirviśvā~ ṛtunā vaso maha uśandevā~ uśataḥ pāyayā haviḥ ||

Be plural ased, Agni, with the fuel; be plural ased with the oblation; be plural ased with the sacred prayer that is good for man; be plural ased with holy praise, asylum of all; Agni, willing (to accept oblations), render all the great gods desirous (of the same), and with them all, and with the Ṛtu drink the oblation.
