ऋग्वेद 10.167 (श्लोक 1) - Project अर्थ (Artha)

तुभ्येदमिन्द्र परि षिच्यते मधु त्वं सुतस्य कलशस्य राजसि । त्वं रयिं पुरुवीरामु नस्कृधि त्वं तपः परितप्याजयः स्वः ॥

tubhyedamindra pari ṣicyate madhu tvaṃ sutasya kalaśasya rājasi | tvaṃ rayiṃ puruvīrāmu naskṛdhi tvaṃ tapaḥ paritapyājayaḥ svaḥ ||

For you, Indra, is this Soma poured forth, you rule over the effused (Soma of) the jar; do you bestowupon us riches with numerous sons, you did win heaven, performing arduous penance.

स्वर्जितं महि मन्दानमन्धसो हवामहे परि शक्रं सुताँ उप । इमं नो यज्ञमिह बोध्या गहि स्पृधो जयन्तं मघवानमीमहे ॥

svarjitaṃ mahi mandānamandhaso havāmahe pari śakraṃ sutā~ upa | imaṃ no yajñamiha bodhyā gahi spṛdho jayantaṃ maghavānamīmahe ||

We summon to the libations the mighty Śukra, the conqueror of heaven, exhilarated by sacrificialfood; take notice of this our sacrifice here and come; we solicit (for wealth) Maghavan, victorious over his foes.

सोमस्य राज्ञो वरुणस्य धर्मणि बृहस्पतेरनुमत्या उ शर्मणि । तवाहमद्य मघवन्नुपस्तुतौ धातर्विधातः कलशाँ अभक्षयम् ॥

somasya rājño varuṇasya dharmaṇi bṛhaspateranumatyā u śarmaṇi | tavāhamadya maghavannupastutau dhātarvidhātaḥ kalaśā~ abhakṣayam ||

(Engaged) in the worship of the royal Soma and of Varuṇa, (present) in the protecting (dwelling) ofBṛhaspati and Anumati, (I am assiduous) in your praise, Maghavan; Dhātā and Vidhātā, I have fed on thepitcher.

प्रसूतो भक्षमकरं चरावपि स्तोमं चेमं प्रथमः सूरिरुन्मृजे । सुते सातेन यद्यागमं वां प्रति विश्वामित्रजमदग्नी दमे ॥

prasūto bhakṣamakaraṃ carāvapi stomaṃ cemaṃ prathamaḥ sūrirunmṛje | sute sātena yadyāgamaṃ vāṃ prati viśvāmitrajamadagnī dame ||

Enjoined by you, I have prepared the food at the (sacrifice) about to be performed, and as chiefworshipper I complete this hymn of praise. (Indra speaks): The Soma being poured out in your respectivedwellings, O Viśvāmitra and Jamadagni, (offer praise) when I come with (the wealth) which I am going todistribute.
