अग्नीषोमाविमं सु मे शृणुतं वृषणा हवम् । प्रति सूक्तानि हर्यतं भवतं दाशुषे मयः ॥

agnīṣomāvimaṃ su me śṛṇutaṃ vṛṣaṇā havam | prati sūktāni haryataṃ bhavataṃ dāśuṣe mayaḥ ||

Agni and Soma, showerers (of desires), favourably hear this my invocation, graciously accept my hymns, and bestow felicity on the donor (of the oblation).

अग्नीषोमा यो अद्य वामिदं वचः सपर्यति । तस्मै धत्तं सुवीर्यं गवां पोषं स्वश्व्यम् ॥

agnīṣomā yo adya vāmidaṃ vacaḥ saparyati | tasmai dhattaṃ suvīryaṃ gavāṃ poṣaṃ svaśvyam ||

Agni and Soma, grant to him who addresses this prayer to you both, store of cattle with sound strength and good horses.

अग्नीषोमा य आहुतिं यो वां दाशाद्धविष्कृतिम् । स प्रजया सुवीर्यं विश्वमायुर्व्यश्नवत् ॥

agnīṣomā ya āhutiṃ yo vāṃ dāśāddhaviṣkṛtim | sa prajayā suvīryaṃ viśvamāyurvyaśnavat ||

Agni and Soma, may he who offers you the oblation of clarified butter, enjoy sound strength, with progeny, through all his life.

अग्नीषोमा चेति तद्वीर्यं वां यदमुष्णीतमवसं पणिं गाः । अवातिरतं बृसयस्य शेषोऽविन्दतं ज्योतिरेकं बहुभ्यः ॥

agnīṣomā ceti tadvīryaṃ vāṃ yadamuṣṇītamavasaṃ paṇiṃ gāḥ | avātirataṃ bṛsayasya śeṣo'vindataṃ jyotirekaṃ bahubhyaḥ ||

Agni and Soma, that prowess of yours, by which you have carried off the cows that were the food of Paṇi, is (well) known to us; you have slain the offspring of Bṛsya and you have obtained the luminary (the sun), for the benefit of the many.

युवमेतानि दिवि रोचनान्यग्निश्च सोम सक्रतू अधत्तम् । युवं सिन्धूँरभिशस्तेरवद्यादग्नीषोमावमुञ्चतं गृभीतान् ॥

yuvametāni divi rocanānyagniśca soma sakratū adhattam | yuvaṃ sindhū~rabhiśasteravadyādagnīṣomāvamuñcataṃ gṛbhītān ||

You two, Agni and Soma, acting together, have sustained these constallations in the sky; you have liberated the rivers that had been defiled from the notorious imputation.

आन्यं दिवो मातरिश्वा जभारामथ्नादन्यं परि श्येनो अद्रेः । अग्नीषोमा ब्रह्मणा वावृधानोरुं यज्ञाय चक्रथुरु लोकम् ॥

ānyaṃ divo mātariśvā jabhārāmathnādanyaṃ pari śyeno adreḥ | agnīṣomā brahmaṇā vāvṛdhānoruṃ yajñāya cakrathuru lokam ||

Agni and Soma, the wind brought one of you from heaven, a hawk carried off the other by force from the summit of the mountain; growing vast by praise, you have made the world wide for (the performance of) sacrifice.

अग्नीषोमा हविषः प्रस्थितस्य वीतं हर्यतं वृषणा जुषेथाम् । सुशर्माणा स्ववसा हि भूतमथा धत्तं यजमानाय शं योः ॥

agnīṣomā haviṣaḥ prasthitasya vītaṃ haryataṃ vṛṣaṇā juṣethām | suśarmāṇā svavasā hi bhūtamathā dhattaṃ yajamānāya śaṃ yoḥ ||

Agni and Soma, partake of the proffered oblation; be gracious to us; showerers (of desires), be plural ased; prosperous and diligent protectors, be propitious, and grant to the sacrificer health and exemption from illness.

यो अग्नीषोमा हविषा सपर्याद्देवद्रीचा मनसा यो घृतेन । तस्य व्रतं रक्षतं पातमंहसो विशे जनाय महि शर्म यच्छतम् ॥

yo agnīṣomā haviṣā saparyāddevadrīcā manasā yo ghṛtena | tasya vrataṃ rakṣataṃ pātamaṃhaso viśe janāya mahi śarma yacchatam ||

Agni and Soma, protect his sacrifice and defend him from illness, who, with a mind devoted to the gods, worships you with clarified butter and oblations; grant to the man engaged (in devotion) extreme felicity.

अग्नीषोमा सवेदसा सहूती वनतं गिरः । सं देवत्रा बभूवथुः ॥

agnīṣomā savedasā sahūtī vanataṃ giraḥ | saṃ devatrā babhūvathuḥ ||

Agni and Soma, endowed with the like wealth, and invoked by a common invocation, share our praises, for you have (ever) been the chief of the gods.

अग्नीषोमावनेन वां यो वां घृतेन दाशति । तस्मै दीदयतं बृहत् ॥

agnīṣomāvanena vāṃ yo vāṃ ghṛtena dāśati | tasmai dīdayataṃ bṛhat ||

Agni and Soma, give ample (recompense) to him who presents to you both, this clarified butter.

अग्नीषोमाविमानि नो युवं हव्या जुजोषतम् । आ यातमुप नः सचा ॥

agnīṣomāvimāni no yuvaṃ havyā jujoṣatam | ā yātamupa naḥ sacā ||

Agni and Soma, bepleased with these our oblations, come to us together.

अग्नीषोमा पिपृतमर्वतो न आ प्यायन्तामुस्रिया हव्यसूदः । अस्मे बलानि मघवत्सु धत्तं कृणुतं नो अध्वरं श्रुष्टिमन्तम् ॥

agnīṣomā pipṛtamarvato na ā pyāyantāmusriyā havyasūdaḥ | asme balāni maghavatsu dhattaṃ kṛṇutaṃ no adhvaraṃ śruṣṭimantam ||

Agni and Soma, cherish our horses, and may our cows, affordin g(milk that yields butter for) oblations, be well nourished; give to us, who are affluent, strength (to perform) religious rites, and make our sacrifice productive of wealth.
