The Sukta is an invocation to the अश्विन्स् , divine twin gods, praising their timely interventions and blessings. They are requested for participation in rites, guiding and protecting worshippers, and granting prosperity, protection, and happiness, especially to the devotees and facilitators of sacrifices. Characters such as घोषा , भुज्यु , and others recall the अश्विन्स् ' support and favorable actions rv-10-40 .
