ऋग्वेद 3.46 (श्लोक 1) - Project अर्थ (Artha)

युध्मस्य ते वृषभस्य स्वराज उग्रस्य यूनः स्थविरस्य घृष्वेः । अजूर्यतो वज्रिणो वीर्याणीन्द्र श्रुतस्य महतो महानि ॥

yudhmasya te vṛṣabhasya svarāja ugrasya yūnaḥ sthavirasya ghṛṣveḥ | ajūryato vajriṇo vīryāṇīndra śrutasya mahato mahāni ||

Vast are the energies of you, Indra, the warrior, (the showerer of benefits), the lord of wealth, the fierce; who is (both) young and old; the overcomer of foes, the undecaying, the wielder of the thunderbolt, and who is mighty and renowned.

महाँ असि महिष वृष्ण्येभिर्धनस्पृदुग्र सहमानो अन्यान् । एको विश्वस्य भुवनस्य राजा स योधया च क्षयया च जनान् ॥

mahā~ asi mahiṣa vṛṣṇyebhirdhanaspṛdugra sahamāno anyān | eko viśvasya bhuvanasya rājā sa yodhayā ca kṣayayā ca janān ||

Adorable and powerful Indra, you are great and magnificent, overcoming adversaries by your prowess; you alone are lord of all the world; do you war (upon our enemies), and give safe dwellings to men.

प्र मात्राभी रिरिचे रोचमानः प्र देवेभिर्विश्वतो अप्रतीतः । प्र मज्मना दिव इन्द्रः पृथिव्याः प्रोरोर्महो अन्तरिक्षादृजीषी ॥

pra mātrābhī ririce rocamānaḥ pra devebhirviśvato apratītaḥ | pra majmanā diva indraḥ pṛthivyāḥ prorormaho antarikṣādṛjīṣī ||

The resplendent and every way unlimited Indra, drinking the spiritless Soma, far surpasses the elements, (far exceeds) the gods in power; he is more vast than heaven and earth, or the widespread spacious firmament.

उरुं गभीरं जनुषाभ्युग्रं विश्वव्यचसमवतं मतीनाम् । इन्द्रं सोमासः प्रदिवि सुतासः समुद्रं न स्रवत आ विशन्ति ॥

uruṃ gabhīraṃ januṣābhyugraṃ viśvavyacasamavataṃ matīnām | indraṃ somāsaḥ pradivi sutāsaḥ samudraṃ na sravata ā viśanti ||

The Soma daily poured out enter into the vast and profund Indra, fierce from his birth, all-pervading, the protector of the pious (worshipper), as rivers flow into the sea.

यं सोममिन्द्र पृथिवीद्यावा गर्भं न माता बिभृतस्त्वाया । तं ते हिन्वन्ति तमु ते मृजन्त्यध्वर्यवो वृषभ पातवा उ ॥

yaṃ somamindra pṛthivīdyāvā garbhaṃ na mātā bibhṛtastvāyā | taṃ te hinvanti tamu te mṛjantyadhvaryavo vṛṣabha pātavā u ||

Which Soma, Indra, the heaven and earth, containing for you, as a mother contains the embryo; showerer (of benefits), the priests pour it out for you they purify it for your drinking.
