[rv-10-188] • 3 श्लोकाः

प्र नूनं जातवेदसमश्वं हिनोत वाजिनम् । इदं नो बर्हिरासदे ॥

pra nūnaṃ jātavedasamaśvaṃ hinota vājinam | idaṃ no barhirāsade ||

Urge the food-giver, Jātavedas, (as) a horse, to sit down upon this our sacred grass.

अस्य प्र जातवेदसो विप्रवीरस्य मीऴ्हुषः । महीमियर्मि सुष्टुतिम् ॥

asya pra jātavedaso vipravīrasya mīḻhuṣaḥ | mahīmiyarmi suṣṭutim ||

I offer earnest and ample praise to this Ja-tavedas, the showerer (of benefits), whose sons areintelligent (worshippers).

या रुचो जातवेदसो देवत्रा हव्यवाहनीः । ताभिर्नो यज्ञमिन्वतु ॥

yā ruco jātavedaso devatrā havyavāhanīḥ | tābhirno yajñaminvatu ||

May he invest our sacrifice with those bright (flames) of Jātavedas, that are the bearers of theoblation to the gods.
