ऋग्वेद 1.107 (श्लोक 1) - Project अर्थ (Artha)

यज्ञो देवानां प्रत्येति सुम्नमादित्यासो भवता मृऴयन्तः । आ वोऽर्वाची सुमतिर्ववृत्यादंहोश्चिद्या वरिवोवित्तरासत् ॥

yajño devānāṃ pratyeti sumnamādityāso bhavatā mṛḻayantaḥ | ā vo'rvācī sumatirvavṛtyādaṃhościdyā varivovittarāsat ||

May our sacrifice give satisfaction to the gods; Ādityas, be gracious, and may your good intentions be directed towards us, so as to be abundant source of affliction to the poor.

उप नो देवा अवसा गमन्त्वङ्गिरसां सामभिः स्तूयमानाः । इन्द्र इन्द्रियैर्मरुतो मरुद्भिरादित्यैर्नो अदितिः शर्म यंसत् ॥

upa no devā avasā gamantvaṅgirasāṃ sāmabhiḥ stūyamānāḥ | indra indriyairmaruto marudbhirādityairno aditiḥ śarma yaṃsat ||

May the gods, who are to be lauded by the hymns of the Aṅgirasas, come hither for our protection; may Indra with his treasures, the Maruts with the vital airs, and Aditi with the Ādityas (come and) give us felicity.

तन्न इन्द्रस्तद्वरुणस्तदग्निस्तदर्यमा तत्सविता चनो धात् । तन्नो मित्रो वरुणो मामहन्तामदितिः सिन्धुः पृथिवी उत द्यौः ॥

tanna indrastadvaruṇastadagnistadaryamā tatsavitā cano dhāt | tanno mitro varuṇo māmahantāmaditiḥ sindhuḥ pṛthivī uta dyauḥ ||

May Indra, may Varuṇa, may Agni, may Aryaman, may Savitā, bestow upon us that food (which we solicit); and may Mitra, Varuṇa, Aditi--ocean, earth and heaven, preserve it (to us).
