. The सप्तनागस् are अनन्त , तक्षक , कर्क , पद्म , महापद्म , शङ्खक and गुलिक . All of them should be consecrated in temples as wearing ब्रह्म -string and having the face with the expanded hood of a serpent. (Agni Purāṇa, Chapter 51)
