A राक्षस . रैवत , king of कुशस्थली , born of the race of शर्याति , went to see ब्रह्मा . Taking advantage of his absence from the place पुण्यजन took control over कुशस्थली . Afraid of the demon all the hundred brothers of रैवत left the country. After some time the शर्याति dynasty merged with that of हेहय . (Chapter 2, Aṃśa 4, Viṣṇu Purāṇa)
