A daughter of स्वायम्भुव मनु . स्वयंभुव मनु had two sons named प्रियव्रत and उत्तानपाद and three daughters named आकूति , देवहूति and प्रसूति . आकूति was married to रुचिप्रजापति , देवहूति to कर्दमप्रजापति and प्रसूति to दक्षप्रजापति . यज्ञ is the son of आकूति . कपिल is the son of देवहूति . प्रसूति got only a number of daughters.
