This is a holy place situated in the middle of four sacred places in कुरुक्षेत्र named तरन्तुक , अरन्तुक . परशुरामकुण्ड and मचक्रुक . This place is called the उत्तर (north) वेदी of प्रजापति also. Besides this, four other places, प्रतिष्ठानपुरी (with प्रयाग ), कम्बल , अश्वतर and भोगवती are called प्रजापतिवेदीस् . The aforesaid five sacred Places are called ब्रह्मवेदी also.
