One of the seven forms of वायु . प्राणवायु has got seven forms:--

प्रवह

This वायु makes lightning in the sky.

आवह

It is by this वायु that the stars shine and waters of the ocean go up as water-vapour and down as rains.

उद्वह

This vāyu makes movements among the clouds and produces thunder.

संवह

This वायु beats the mountains. संवह is also engaged in shaping the clouds and producing thunder.

व्यवह

Preparing holy water in the sky and making आकाशगङ्गा stay there static is the work of this वायु .

परिवह

This वायु gives strength to one who sits in meditation.

परावह
