A mighty asura. Once this asura gathered a big army and went to fight against इन्द्र . A grim battle which lasted for several days took place in which the asura army was destroyed and पाक killed. इन्द्र got thenceforth the name पाकशासन . (Chapter 70, Vāyu Purāṇa)
