One of the eight sons of जनमेजय , a King of कुरुवंश . The others are धृतराष्ट्र , पाण्डु , बाल्हीक , निषध , जाम्बूनद , कुण्डोदर and वसाति . (The पाण्डु and धृतराष्ट्र mentioned here are not the fathers of कौरवपाण्डवस् .).
