A famous King of the पूरु dynasty. A son called ब्रह्मदत्त was born to the King by his wife कृति alias कीर्तिमती . ब्रह्मदत्त begot hundred sons like कीर्तिवर्धन and all of them became famous by the name नीपस् . (Bhāgavata, 9th Skandha) .
An ancient kingdom in India. The King of this place participated in युधिष्ठिर 's राजसूय . [mh-2-51-24 ] .
A क्षत्रिय dynasty. King जनमेजय belonged to this dynasty. [mh-5-74-13 ] .
