अग्नि , the embodiment of divine energy, is ignited by the wind, symbolizing a beacon for the gods, and shines brightly like the sun [rv-1-148-1 ] . Protecting the devotee from adversaries, अग्नि cherishes offerings and pleases the pantheon with the worshiper's praise [rv-1-148-2 ] . He is revered in his eternal abode, drawn to sacrifices by praises, akin to swift horses [rv-1-148-3 ] . Consuming the forest, अग्निऽस् flames are fueled by the wind's favor [rv-1-148-4 ] . Even at its weakest, अग्नि remains unharmed and undiminished by adversaries [rv-1-148-5 ] .
